Power MES is an extension of the standard part of the manufacturing module in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. In the business information system, the company creates a production plan and opens work orders that can be assigned to a specific employee in a specific production cell or available to all employees. 

The employee logs on to a terminal via an NFC-enabled card, where the work orders are displayed. In this way, the working time, the material used, the quantity produced and the production interruptions are recorded. The employee can transmit the information directly to the system in real time, and thus obtain a complete overview of the operational flow of production. 

More robust terminals are better suited to areas where dust and dirt are present. Terminals with larger screens or even computers are suitable for clean production areas where workers want to see technical documents, plans, instructions, control procedures, or other documents in addition to a list of tasks. All terminals work with either Android or Windows devices, or use a custom interface.  

Power MES is part of a complete solution that can also include a document system. In addition to work orders, you can view and attach all the necessary documents that you store and manage in your document system, allowing you to enter and retrieve all types of documents easily and transparently.
